Bohemian dream - pop-up wedding at The Hall Waikato

Do you ever have a picture in your mind of the perfect wedding venue? Well for us it was The Hall, a stunning country venue in Manawaru - for non-locals, it’s about 45 minutes from Hamilton, and 10 minutes from either Te Aroha and Matamata. This place is seriously amazing, with owners Joanna and Eugene having lovingly restored the once condemned hall into a place of beauty, complete with lush gardens, whimsical features, love nooks a plenty, country vistas, …and that outdoor alter! A perfect new home for our Waikato pop-ups - it’s no wonder it sold out in record time!

On top of all that, it was such a treat to work Hannah Porter again, making things official. Joanna’s floral alter-ego, The Mayflower Meadow, provided all the styling & florals - and with most grown on-site, now that’s rare! Super lucky to have also found local baker Eastport Road, based in Te Aroha. Janna’s cakes are AMAZING!

Anyway, enough of our gushing, see for yourself below through the talented eyes of Natalie Morgan Photography.

If you love this look too, and want something small or easy or affordable (or all of the above!), we’re back again next summer - 8 February 2020. Just three spots left!

Rob & Cathy

It all started with a coffee, and blossomed into a beautiful relationship and a union we were lucky enough to bear witness to - the love and support these two share was obvious from the moment we met them. They we’re absolutely beaming after their “i dos”.

Brooke & Mitchell

A long time in the making, these high school sweethearts made it official on the most beautiful of summer days. Brooke looking all kinds of gorgeous, and Mitchell just couldn’t stop smiling. We loved the dudes in their matching converse too!

Leanne & Mitchell

These two lovebirds fully embraced the Skinny Love vibe of a beautiful wedding kept simple. Lots of newly wedded giggles and stealing kisses.

Tina & Kyle

What do you doing when one of your big goals together is saving for a house? Have a pop-up wedding! These two and their wee boy we’re nothing but lovely and shared some super kind words following their big day:

Getting married through Skinny Love was the best decision!! The friendly team made planning our big day simple and stress free while making it every bit as special and enjoyable as we could dream of. The day went off without a hitch. The venue was decorated so tastefully, the flower arrangements were lovely and our every request was filled. Would highly recommend to others xx Many Thanks

Steph & Will

It felt like we just clicked right from the start - even though we dont actually meet our couples until the day, we feel like we already know you and it’s lovely. This was truly a family first occasion, with Steph & Will’s son and daughter at their side as best man and bridesmaid - very cool!

If you’re wondering where Steph and her daughter’s fab dried floral crowns are from - XOX Floral in Taupo.

Again, thank you sooo much for being pop-up wedding planning superstars!  Honestly it was the most perfect, stress free day and we have such fond memories!  Big loves xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Back here again next summer - 8 February 2020. Come join us!
